Scout Sunday Mass - February 1st, 2015 at 9:00am Mass

Scouts and their families are invited to join in the celebration of Scout Sunday at St. Rita Parish.  Scouts who have earned religious medals this year will be recognized.
We are in need of volunteers to help serve in the various liturgical ministries listed on the SignUpGenius link below.  
This is the SignUpGenius link to register yourself in the Scout Sunday program. Please not only register here, but also in the "Event Registration" tab under "Scout Sunday" to the right of this message.
We will meet in Room 1 at 8:30am.  Full Class A uniform is requested for Scouts and Scouters.  We will process into the church as a group and be seated together.
Rehearsal for Flag Bearers (important) and Lectors will be Tuesday, January 27th at 6:30pm (prior to the Troop meeting) in the church.
All scouts and their families are invited to a reception in the gym following the mass.

2014 Pasta Dinner Poster/Flyer

The attached files are variations of the 2014 Pasta Dinner poster/flyer; in color, grayscale, and black & white.  There is a version with a contact line if you distribute to friends, family or at work, and a version that can be distributed with sponsorship requests for prospective dinner ad sponsors or posted at area establishments with their permission.  If anyone requires a Word version of these files please contact Mr Aldridge.

Corning Museum of Glass

Day trip to Corning Museum of Glass.  Scouts will tour the facility and blow a glass ornament.

15th Challange Trophy Camporee -- Oct, 18-20

(Please register on the Events bar and turn in permission slips as soon as possible, Time sensitive fee schedule applies to this event.)    15th Challenge Trophy Camporee (CTC) is October 18-20 at Camp Babcock Hovey, on Seneca Lake, Ovid, NY. Over 1,300 scouts are expected to attend this event. Troop 163 has attended the CTC every other year for many years. The CTC attracts troops from across Seneca Waterways Council, as well as other New York State and Canadian troops. CTC boasts one of the largest arrays of scout patches available for a scout event.  This year's patches feature colorful North American birds. There are 14, main and sub camp patches, and another 11 patches for events, staff and volunteers. All patches, current and past CTC, will also be available for purchase at the campout.
