Please sign up at tomorrow’s meeting if you are interested in the June campout as some critical dates are fast approaching for reservations. The trip will run from Wednesday 6/27- Sunday 7/1. Some members may break camp early to return to Rochester. Please email me with a yes/no and number of people planning to attend. I am aware this is following Webster’s graduation on Sunday 6/24.
The May 19th Bike Camp out is fast approaching and we are looking forward to a great scouting expedition! We will be riding from Fairport Village to Spencerport along the Eric Canal and camping at the youth campground at North Hampton Park (32.6 miles from the Fairport bridge). See Google Maps link below for the bike route.
Driver to pull the trailer. This requires an adult with a vehicle that can pull the trailer and a commitment for both days. It would be from St. Rita's to Fairport on Saturday, meet at half way point, and drive to Northhampton park. Then on Sunday to drive to halfway point from Northhampton then to Fairport to pick up bikes, and then continue back to St. Rita's.
Drivers to meet at halfway point for boys who cannot bike the rest of the way.
Adult volunteers to drive boys who wish to go to mass on Saturday, and adult to supervise camp for boys who remain at camp.
At least two adult volunteers willing to bike along with the boys.
Bike Preparation:
1. Need to get your bike in order and tuned up. The terrain will be a canal path, mostly crushed gravel, and some pavement.
2. Have at least one spare tire available and repair kit.
3. Need to have a helmet in good order

The time is upon us soon to submit our scout requests for merit badge selections for summer camp! Badgetracker, the online enrollment process for merit badge registration opens later in April and we would like to be prepared with everyone's choices in advance of that date to ensure that our scouts get the badges and classes they want.
